Hundreds of airport workers across Scotland have backed potential summer strike action following disputes over pay offers at Edinburgh Glasgow and Aberdeen airports.

Edinburgh Airport (EDI), Glasgow Airport (GLA) and Aberdeen International Airport (ABZ) could face disruption this summer after hundreds of workers backed potential strike action in ongoing pay disputes.
According to Unite, nearly 700 airport workers employed across multiple companies voted in favour of industrial action after rejecting pay offers.

Around 370 workers employed by Edinburgh Airport Limited backed strike action at Edinburgh Airport, while approximately 320 workers employed by ICTS and Menzies Aviation at Glasgow Airport also voted to support industrial action.
Unite stated that strike dates are expected to be announced in the coming days.
The union warned that any industrial action could take place during the peak summer travel period alongside the FIFA World Cup and Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow.
A separate ballot involving around 70 ICTS workers at Aberdeen International Airport remains ongoing and is due to close on 28 May.
Sharon Graham said workers had overwhelmingly supported strike action following what the union described as unacceptable pay offers from employers.
Unite industrial officer Carrie Donoghue added that the strikes could significantly affect airport operations and passengers during the busy summer period.
