It is now possible to apply for this year’s edition of Tekniksprånget at Swedavia. The internship programme gives young people interested in technology the chance to try engineering jobs at Swedavia, directly after high school. Swedavia has had a successful collaboration with Tekniksprånget for several years and has enabled many young people to try out different engineering professions at Swedavia’s airports.

“We are very pleased to be able to welcome new Tekniksprångare to this autumn’s internship programme at our airports. Our participation in Tekniksprånget gives us an opportunity to reach out to and showcase our business to future generations of engineers. It feels fantastic to see the great interest there is in trying out the engineering profession with us and it is also very gratifying to see that the application pressure among young women has increased”, says Marie Wiksborg, Director of Business Support at Swedavia.

Tekniksprånget’s internship programme aims to inspire young people to become engineers. The collaboration has been appreciated among Tekniksprånget’s candidates and interest in interning at Swedavia’s 10 airports has increased significantly. Several of previous years’ interns have planned to continue their studies to become civil engineers after the internship period.
