Biometrics have been integral to reducing queues at airports, and increasing the passenger
experience. This case study will focus on the introduction of self-service & enhanced
passenger identification through facial recognition and challenges faced and benefits through
implementation. The session will address how the technology is streamlining the passenger
journey from check-in to take-off and the session will demonstrate the beneficial impact
reducing the average passenger’s journey time.
