Panel Discussion: Incident Management

Date: 5 December 2018
Time: 09:05

How does an airport fare in the real world? Are our airports and airlines actually equipped to manage a crisis should it occur? For all the countermeasures we put in place, airports still have to be able to respond to security incidents, such as bomb threats and unattended bags, and manage protests, as witnessed with the so-called Trump Travel Ban. The solution lies in a blend of procedures, technologies and human decision-making. In this panel discussion, Airport Security 2018 discusses whether we really are able to manage real-time incidents in an effective manner.
