Jetex and SOF Connect will develop a new VIP lounge at Sofia Airport, expanding premium services for private and commercial aviation passengers.
Jetex and SOF Connect have signed an agreement to develop and operate a new VIP Lounge at Vasil Levski Sofia Airport (SOF), expanding premium aviation services in Bulgaria.
Located in the western wing of Terminal 1, Jetex Sofia will feature a private entrance and a collection of elegantly designed lounges. The facility will offer bespoke services for private aviation guests and CIP passengers travelling on commercial airlines.
Jetex announces new Sofia Airport lounge
Jetex Sofia is expected to welcome more than 30,000 passengers in 2027, with commercial airline passengers receiving a premium experience designed to provide the convenience and service associated with private aviation.

Jetex operates a global network of more than 40 VIP terminals in destinations including Paris, London, Istanbul, Milan, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Marrakech and Singapore. The Sofia opening will reinforce the company’s presence in Eastern Europe.

The project is expected to strengthen Sofia’s appeal for premium travellers while supporting the airport’s wider ambitions for international connectivity and service development capacity.
