Gaurav Gupta is the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Sales for the Travel and Transport business of IDEMIA Public Security (IPS). Based in the UAE, he is responsible for all the commercial activities including global sales, business development, partnerships, advisory, and marketing for Travel & Transport business.
With over 20 years of experience in technology consulting and sales management, Gaurav has worked across multiple continents with global multinational companies. He holds multiple patents and research papers in pattern recognition and statistical analysis and has extensive technical and commercial expertise in border control, airport and airline solutions, law enforcement, cybersecurity, digital identity, and biometrics.
Gaurav holds a Master of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from West Virginia University (WVU), USA, and has previously held senior sales positions at Daon and Unisys.
