International Airport Summit 2026International Airport Summit (IAS) is back for another year of thought leadership content and networking for the airport industry, setting out a programme designed to help airport leaders convert strategic ambition into operational transformation.

The airport industry will convene in Rome on 11-12 November for two days of panel discussions, fireside chats, presentations and networking.

For this year’s edition, we have partnered with Aeroporti di Roma, an airport operator widely recognised for its innovation hub and world‑class operational performance. The partnership strengthens the event’s focus on practical, future‑focused solutions that can be applied across global airport networks.

The summit continues to build on its mission to bring the world’s most innovative airports together to experience the actionable intelligence of International Airport Review in a live environment. Through expert insight, structured debate and collaborative working sessions, it aims to help leaders challenge assumptions, share proven approaches and accelerate the evolution of airport operations. Organisers have reaffirmed their event promise for 2026 to provide “actionable intelligence, expert insight and high‑value connections” that enable airports to bridge the gap between strategy and execution.

Early confirmed speakers include Alessandro Fidato, Chief Operating Officer at SEA Milan Airports; Chris Miles, Chief Operating Officer at the Calgary Airport Authority; and Doug Wycoff, Director of Digital Solutions and Innovation at Tampa International Airport. They will be among the global cohort of leaders delivering keynotes, fireside conversations and interactive roundtables.

The agenda will address the most pressing themes shaping the future of the airport sector. Discussion topics include smart growth; predictive airport operations; the seamless passenger journey; decarbonisation across operations and infrastructure; technology’s role in defining the future airport workforce; digital transformation and artificial intelligence; operational performance and resilience; and the evolving landscape of airport security.

Across the two‑day programme, delegates will examine how airports can transform the way they operate, innovate and perform. The summit is designed to support applied learning and encourage peer‑to‑peer exchange, enabling airports to benchmark progress and explore new operating models.

Registration for the 2026 International Airport Summit is open, with further speakers and programme updates to follow.
