Hamad International Airport (DOH) has introduced the Travel Recovery Studio at ORCHARD in Concourse C, a complimentary wellness experience designed to help passengers recover and recharge while in transit.

Running from 6 September to 25 October 2026, the Travel Recovery Studio offers guided 20-minute sessions combining breathing exercises, gentle stretching and movement on red light therapy recovery mats, which use warm, low-level light to encourage relaxation. Led by instructors, the sessions are designed to help passengers release tension, improve comfort and feel refreshed before their next flight.

The experience is located within ORCHARD, a 6,000 square metre indoor tropical garden home to more than 300 trees and 35,000 plants from around the world. The space provides passengers with a setting to take a break from the pace of travel.

Hamad Airport said the initiative reflects its broader focus on supporting passenger comfort and wellbeing throughout the journey, offering an opportunity for travellers to pause and make use of their time in transit.

A living ecosystem within the terminal

Since opening in 2022, ORCHARD has become one of Hamad Airport’s most recognisable spaces, combining nature, art, dining and retail. The space features bronze sculptures from the Wildlife Wonderscapes collection by artists Gillie and Marc, and is surrounded by hospitality outlets including Qatar Airways’ Al Mourjan Business Lounge, the Louis Vuitton Lounge by Yannick Alléno and the Dior Spa.

ORCHARD continues to develop as a living ecosystem, with orchids, water lilies and lotus flowers throughout the space, alongside recently introduced Japanese koi fish. Advanced irrigation and climate control systems maintain the conditions required for the garden to thrive year-round.

The Travel Recovery Studio is available to passengers aged 18 and above, subject to capacity, with sessions running Sunday to Thursday from 16:30 to 19:30.

The launch forms part of a wider programme of initiatives at Hamad International Airport aimed at enhancing passenger comfort and experience across its terminal facilities.
