Lucy McAuliffe

Head of Passenger Security, Gatwick Airport

Lucy joined Gatwick Airport in 2016 and leads the UK’s second largest airport security operation, serving over 45 million passengers a year. Prior to joining Gatwick, Lucy has experience of public and private sector operational leadership roles across the transport industry, focused on safety critical and regulated organisations. She currently holds the role of Silver Commander during airport incidents and is responsible for delivering exceptional levels of passenger experience and efficient security operations.
She holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Nottingham, a Postgraduate Award from the University of Warwick and Level 7 in Strategic Leadership and Management. Lucy is also qualified as a Chartered Manager and is a Fellow of the CMI.
