Case study: using CT technology to improve threat detection capability at a checkpoint

This case study will cover how the introduction of new CT scanners is helping threat detection. The session will incorporate how the use of 3D viewing allows for better visibility of the contents of a bag through security. It will cover how 3D imagery improves the capability of detecting threats whichmakes security in the airport more effective and more efficient because of the benefits to passengers of no longer needing to empty their bags.
