Case study: Schiphol airport creating a seamless flow for passengers

Date: 25 September 2019
Time: 14:00

The ultimate goal for any airport is to make the boarding process as easy and as quick as possible for passengers. This case study will explore how Schiphol airport has focused on creating a more enjoyable end-to-end passenger experience.  It will cover the recent trials of biometric self-boarding systems using facial recognition and CT scanners allowing passengers to leave laptops and liquids in their bags. The session will offer an assessment the speed, operational reliability, user-friendliness of these systems and ability to increase capacity.
