Cyber Security: protecting Geneva Airport from mobile eavesdropping

Hardly a week goes by without media reports of an airport or airline having its website hacked or data compromised. Consequently, airports are beefing up their cyber resilience. Geneva Airport, surrounded by large international organisations, including IATA, is addressing its concerns over electronic eavesdropping and disruption to mobile networks by working with Telecom Liechtenstein. Attempts at espionage are reported to the mobile security alarm centre in Vaduz which can trigger alerts and appropriate countermeasures. This is how it works.
