From physical hub to data hub – what does the end game for data look like?
Date: 4 December 2018
Airports are a hub of data collection amongst multiple parties and many different touch points. Schiphol foresees it will be both a facilitator and an incubator for this data; extending its physical hub function to a digital hub by providing a secure and trusted data aviation ecosystem. This session will discuss how Distributed Ledger Technology (or more specific Blockchain technology) can effectively be introduced in the airport eco system so all sector parties can share data to optimise business processes without losing control and ownership of their data.
