Giampiero Goretti
Giampiero Goretti is Head of Energy Management & Decarbonisation at Aeroporti di Roma (ADR), where he leads strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating the airport group’s energy transition and achieving its net zero ambitions. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has over 24 years of experience across energy management, corporate strategy and sustainability.
Before joining ADR, he spent over a decade at ENGIE Italy in senior leadership roles focused on energy transition, regulatory affairs and business development. He also served on the boards of major italian industry associations, contributing to institutional dialogue and regulatory innovation.
Throughout his career, he has worked for international energy companies, including International Power, API-IP Italian Oil Group and ENGIE, as well as engineering firms involved in energy infrastructure development.
He is the author of international scientific publications on renewable energy and has served as a visiting lecturer at a few universities and business schools.
