Samuel í Hjøllum Rude

Samuel í Hjøllum Rude is Vice President at Copenhagen Airport and heads operational airport services. Together with his team, he is responsible for processes across the journey from “kerb to cloud”. His remit includes passenger processes, baggage operations, and airside activities, with a focus on maintaining a stable balance between capacity and demand in day‑to‑day operations.

He holds an educational background in management accounting and process leadership, as well as an Executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School. His work is centred on supporting efficient operations through practical process optimisation, the use of data‑informed decision‑making, and close collaboration with operational teams.
