David Bentley is an air transport researcher, consultant and writer located in Manchester, England. Mr Bentley is a Graduate of Cranfield University (MSc Air Transport Management) and has over 25 years experience of the industry.

Mr Bentley is the author of eight management reports on the industry concerning airport financing, privatisation and security, low cost airports and airline financing. He has helped prepare comprehensive marketing prospectuses for several airports and is a writer and media commentator for trade and general publications, television and radio. He is Editor of Airport Investor Monthly, and regular contributor to Airport Business Daily.

Mr Bentley has carried out over forty consulting assignments for airports, airlines, industry suppliers and governments.

Previously, he has worked for three airlines in a marketing capacity, has been a Director of a travel agency and Travel Manager for a multinational Company.
