Warsaw Chopin Airport

We are pleased to announce that Chopin Airport has been reopened for all air operations. First plane took off after 10.30 pm last night.

Thanks to the great involvment of Chopin Airport ground services and good cooperation with LOT Polish Airlines team the removal of Boeing 767 from airport runway was conducted expeditiously. The plane operating in LOT’s aerial fleet crash-landed on 1st of November due to landing gear problems. None of 231 passengers and crew members were injured.

From Thursday 4th November all Chopin Airport remains open as usual with flights departing and arriving as scheduled. Nevertheless we still kindly advise all passengers planning to travel from Warsaw Airport to contact their airlines to confirm status of their flight.
