Flightstat.com has named Oslo Airport Gardermoen and Stavanger Airport Sola the most punctual airports in Europe in the large and regional airport categories.

In the final Oslo Airport Gardermoen competed against Vienna International Airport and Linate Airport, Milan. Stavanger Airport Sola competed with Spanish airports La Palma Airport and Santa Cruz De La Palma, and also against Sandefjord Airport Torp. Bergen Airport Flesland and Trondheim Airport Værnes also reached the final round for regional airports.

“The award is a recognition of the work Oslo Airport Gardermoen and Stavanger Airport Sola have laid down through several years in cooperation with airlines, handling companies and air traffic control services. It is also good to see that Bergen Airport Flesland and Trondheim Airport Værnes reached the finals too. Departure punctuality at Oslo Airport Gardermoen was, according to FlightStat, 87.77 percent in 2010, while it was 90.61 percent at Stavanger Airport Sola.
