Materna becomes market leader with extended bag drop portfolio for airports and airlines

After its acquisition of DSG BagDrop, a leader in self-service baggage drop-off, Materna now has become the world leading company for automated bag drop products offering the whole range of self bag drop solutions.

Meeting and exceeding airport and airline requirements, they are the worlds most used self-service bag drop and passenger processing systems. From 7 to 9 September, Materna presents its new extensive portfolio for the first time at Future Travel Experience Global in Las Vegas and also at ACI-NA Annual World Conference & Exhibition in Montreal (25 to 28 September).

The Norwegian Company DSG BagDrop is now completely integrated in the Materna brand. The common portfolio offers kiosks and retrofit models with different options such as bag tag printing, payment or biometrics. Materna also provides kiosk and counter solutions for check-in as well as solutions for secure access. The new website shows all airport and airline products for check-in, baggage handling and access to various airport areas.

Visitors of FTE are welcome at stand B10 in Mandalay Bay Hotel and learn more about the world’s most used bag drop systems for one and two-step processes. They are invited to come along for a drink at Materna stand on Thursday 8 September 17:30 and meet Gavin Jackson, change manager of London Gatwick, the world’s busiest single runway airport.

At ACI-NA in Montreal visitors can see Materna´s range of self bag drop systems designed for one and two step baggage drop-off at stand number 423. With the largest bag drop installations in the world the aviation experts serve all airport and airline requirements for improved passenger handling.
