Airport operators urged to share views on security and resources

Airport operators across the globe are being encouraged to air their views on security operations and airport resources by taking part in an online survey commissioned by leading aviation IT solutions provider Amor Group.

There are just a few days left to complete the short survey, which acknowledges that managing security in today’s ever-changing environment is constant source of demand on airport resources.

With increased security alerts, higher risk profiles and a more demanding screening process, the time, effort and resource required to process passengers is increasing, at a point when airport operators are under huge pressure to maintain a cost-effective operation.

The survey invites opinions on the premise that airport security must be able to respond to continuous changes in operational processes, while being challenged to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.

The results will form the basis of a white paper on optimising airport operations, which will be discussed during a webinar session on June 15.

With a global client list including Heathrow, Frankfurt and Gatwick Airports, Amor Group is widely recognised for its pioneering solutions to remove bottlenecks within airports.

It recently secured a contract with Oslo Airport AS to provide its innovative PAXTrax+ solution to measure queues at the airport, with its Bluetooth technology partner, BLIP Systems.
