On track at Oslo Airport

Falk-Petersen stressed that the high punctuality does not come by itself. – It is especially difficult to maintain such a high punctuality at Oslo Airport in these days. We are carrying one of the largest construction projects, while the airport is fully operational and has significant traffic increase, he says. The total budget for the development of Oslo Airport is unchanged and in accordance with stock exchange release on 4 th June 2013, the project follows the schedule and is about 56 percent completed.

Growth in air traffic

Within Avinor Air Navigation Services there has been a strong growth in traffic, but in terms of results, this is offset by reduced airline fees. ANS is effective from 1 June this year as a separate corporation, 100 percent owned by Avinor AS.

Adapts duty free

Over the summer there has been attention to duty free scheme, and in particular the sale of alcoholic beverages upon arrival at Avinor airports. To facilitate a better passenger experience, there will be adjustments and modifications at the airports to ensure a good experience upon arrival in Norway.
