Malta International Airport, a client of Shireburn Software for these last 20 years, has been chosen to be included in the Airport Council International (ACI)’s Director General’s Roll of Excellence. It is only the third European airport to ever receive such a prestigious recognition.

Malta International Airport was the launch customer of the Concessionaire Analyzer+ (CA+) solution from Shireburn Software and Shireburn congratulates the airport on such an important international achievement and looks forward to continue to work side-by-side such an exemplary airport.

CA+ CEO, John de Giorgio explains that such achievements are noteworthy and hold a special regard by the Shireburn team who have supported Malta International Airport for all these years. “We are delighted that Malta International Airport continues to achieve international recognition for high service standards and best practices. Their investment in continuous improvement and adoption of the latest technology and best resources is reaping benefits” said Mr de Giorgio.

The CA+ software solution allows airports to automate the collection of sales data from the retail and F&B concessions in their terminals, and analyse using business intelligence (BI) techniques, in order to better understand sales patterns and identify trends and opportunities for improving airport revenues. CA+ also allows the management of commercial contracts and agreements, the calculation of revenues based on complex revenue shares and minimum guarantees, as well as billing to concessionaires, optionally integrated to the airport’s back-end ERP system. Through detailed analysis of sales per flight, destination, product category and more, airports are able to work with their concessionaires to boost retail and F&B revenues and thus airport performance.
